Tesvolt Technology Features in Global Documentary on Renewables

Tesvolt Australia and Unlimited Energy Australia are excited to present a preview of the international documentary “Solar Expedition” which was filmed last year, a film about the global renewable energy transition showcasing three of our projects.

The documentary, produced by Studio Motion Films, features innovative renewable energy projects from around the world, highlighting the crucial role renewable energy has to play in solving contemporary energy challenges. The film shows the development of renewable energy in seven countries: Germany, Australia, Brazil, China, Dubai, USA and Japan. Three of our projects are featured in the Australian chapter of the film.

Here’s a quick look at our three featured projects:

🚍 PTA E-Bus and Charging Station

Western Australia’s first electric public transport bus. We designed the energy storage system for the e-charging station powering the battery-electric bus, a landmark project in the WA government's initiative towards environmentally sustainable public transport practices.

🍺 Rocky Ridge Brewery

Leading the way in sustainable practice, this is the first brewery in Australia to be certified sustainable and 100% carbon neutral. We worked with local installer, Innovative Energy Systems, to design and deliver their off-grid renewable energy system.

🌞 Gold Road Resources Renewable Energy Hub

This project was a finalist in the Smarter E-Award 2021 – Innovative Outstanding Projects category. We designed and delivered an innovative renewable energy microgrid hub for a remote mine site accommodation camp. The hub was officially opened by the WA Minister for Mines and Petroleum, who commended Gold Road Resources on adopting the innovative new technology. The Minister outlined how such projects are positioning Western Australia as a leader in renewable energy solutions within the resources sector.
